About Us

Styling Futures Co., is an organization that supports our mission of empowering children in foster care and lower-income communities through self-care, mentorship, and cosmetology education. Founded by Deja McCoy, Styling Futures emerged from a personal experience of witnessing the positive impact of grooming services at a charity event. Deja, a licensed cosmetologist since 2018, combined her passion for hair and community service to create a foundation that supports young people’s growth and well-being. We are committed to providing mobile salon services, mentorship programs, and cosmetology scholarships. Our goal is to foster self-love and confidence in youth, addressing issues like bullying and self-esteem, and creating a positive impact in their lives and communities.

 

Mission Statement: 

To uplift the youth through grooming, self care, mentoring and friendship, in hopes to stop bullying and teenage gun violence. We strive to teach our youth how to love themselves so they can love others. Using effective mentoring, we also want to lead our youth by showing them how to love within and as bright as the stars.
